Chris Kabel (The Netherlands, 1975) studied biochemistry at the University of Amsterdam, industrial design at Delft University of Technology and completed his studies with a degree at the Design Academy of Eindhoven where he graduated in 2001. In 2002, he moved to Rotterdam where he started his design studio. Today he is a professor at the Ecole Cantonale d'Art in Lausanne (ECAL) and the Design Academy in Eindhoven. He works for and with design labels (Dry in Amsterdam), architects, cultural institutions and design galleries (Galerie kreo in Paris). His work even made it to the MoMA collection in New York, the museum Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
