prado

Prado broke through with light + ventilation, a product that imperceptibly incorporates ventilation in lighting. Interior architects around the world are smitten with the unique combination of craft, aesthetics and high-tech. Founder Thibault Renson has a clear mission for Prado: “There is so much noise and visual pollution around us. We want to bring tranquillity and simplicity into the home.”

The jury on prado

The jury awards the Company Gold Award to Prado. What started as a company combining lighting with ventilation has grown in just a few years into an international player in the field of home technology. Their technology is implemented by architects and interior designers such as Axel Vervoort, Vincent Van Duysen, Norm Architects, Bjarke Ingels, etc., and by brands such as Aesop, Saint Laurent, Chanel and Jacquemus. Entrepreneurship as an accelerator for innovation. Knowledge is passed on internally. A young team develops new products with enormous expertise and drive. Production takes place mainly in Belgium, even though sales are strongly internationally oriented. Prado is evolving towards solutions for the entire home and interior, which they recently confirmed with the acquisitions of Atelier Luxus and Vervloet.
